Jerryd Bayless has just been drafted by the indiana pacers, and will be a huge impacy running the guard spot. The pacers struggled this year due to heavy injuries on the top key players and had to play all the youngsters for the remainder of the year which they fell to paying in the playoffs. Jerryd Bayless played at Arizona. The 6′3 guard averaged almost 20 points a game at Arizona, and had a total number of 127 assists for the wildcats. The pacers have chosen the right player at the right time. Indiana has been using all young players and should go pretty far in the playoffs next year and Jerryd Bayless should be one of the top guards to really step it up and make it happen. Jerryd Bayless played one year at Arizona and is looking to produce a championship for the pacers, and compete for rookie of the year which would really be tough.
